Brett McKay is a freelance sports writer, digital content producer, web publisher, and media pundit.
Specialising in rugby and cricket, Brett currently writes for The Roar, ESPNscrum (Aust/NZ), and for PLAY Canberra magazine, is a weekly rugby pundit for ABC Grandstand Digital’s Breakfast program, and is the co-producer/co-host of the weekly Cheap Seats Podcast.
Brett writes a monthly column for Sky Sport – The Magazine in New Zealand, is the online content and social media specialist for the Greater Sydney Rams in the National Rugby Championship, and has written commissioned articles for the Australian edition of The Guardian online and new Australian news outlet, The New Daily.

He produced match previews for Cricket Australia’s Twenty20 Big Bash League competition on www.bigbash.com.au for the 2013/2014 season, as well as close of play commentary and analysis for London-based alternative cricket commentary team, Test Match Sofa, during The Ashes series, and pre-Test previews for TalkSport radio in the UK.
Previously, Brett has written feature articles for Inside Rugby, written daily Test Match blogs for Cricket Australia’s website, www.cricket.com.au, and appeared as a television pundit on Sky News Australia’s Sportsline program.
