And after the weekend’s results, the only certainty is that we’re in for more surprises as top four contenders play each other over the remaining eight games.

rugby.com.au: Two high-scoring affairs completed Round 5 of the National Rugby Championship, with Melbourne Rising taking the Horan-Little Shield off Canberra’s hands, 60-44, and the Sydney Rays effectively ending Brisbane City’s season, 38-32.

Their win in Canberra means Melbourne really are… well, Rising up the ladder

rugby.com.au: Two thoroughly entertaining games at Concord Oval produced 22 tries, with NSW Country beating Perth Spirit 40-24, and the Western Sydney Rams getting up waaaaaay after the bell to topple Queensland Country 50-46.

And it was a massive thumbs up for the Concord double-header

The Roar: We’ve hit the second bye week of The Rugby Championship, and the focus this week turns to the individuals to have really grabbed our attention during the 2016 tournament.
