Cheap Seats podcast: the State of Origin special edition

Ryan O’Connell and I have missed the Jarryd Hayne bandwagon, but have climbed aboard the ‘state against state’ gravy train for the State of Origin Special edition of the Cheap Seats podcast.

The podcast’s regulars have come through in style, flooding the boys with #AskTheCheapSeats questions and avoiding serious threats of half an hour of unscripted insight.

Topics covered include #KickOffBingo; the key players not named Thurston; all the contentious NSW selections, and how Laurie Daley has essentially made his bed; just how fit Josh Dugan was, and the effectiveness of his post-selection medical; Cooper Cronk’s ankle and Queensland’s annual round of manufactured drama; what New South Welshman should do if they happen to work in Queensland; what Queenslanders can get away with if they happen to work in NSW; Origin to the highest bidder; standalone weekends and finally, the boys lay down some bold predictions for a winner in Game 1.

As always, you can get us on Twitter at @CheapSeatsPod, on Soundcloud, iTunes, and the TuneIn radio app. And stay cheap – you never know when we’ll be back!
