Test Match Sofa: With England still five hundred and plenty behind, and with two wickets already back in the shed, there may not have been a better time for me to make my debut with British internet-based cricket commentary, Test Match Sofa.

Dubbed “the alternative cricket commentary”, the Sofa team have been calling England’s Test series for several years now, and have gained something of a cult following around the world. They have an affiliation with Australian website The Armchair Selector, who also host the Cheap Seats podcast, and it was through this association that their people contacted mine.
