Rugby News: Not to be confused with the magazine of the same name, www.rugbynews.net.au is Australia’s most trusted source of independent rugby news across all levels of the game. rugby.com.au: Ahead of tonight’s big Country clash up in Newcastle, I had a chat with NSW Country Eagles flyhalf, Jono Lance.

After two injury-plagued seasons, the former Reds, Waratahs and Western Force-bound midfielder is loving being out on the park and playing again, particularly at a time of the year where he traditionally would have been getting stuck into pre-season training.

And he’s playing bloody well, for the record. His feel for the game and his vision hasn’t suffered for the time out of the game, and his goal-kicking in the 2015 NRC has been solid. If the Eagles reach the semis again this season, Lance will have been a major factor..
